Hi, I’m Ashley and this is my husband Anthony. We are known as the A-Team.
Anthony and I have been together for nine years and have enjoyed many adventures together.
We love kids and always knew we wanted a family. But first, we decided to dedicate time to growing our relationship and traveling as much as we could before entering that next chapter. Then, we got married, bought a home, and traveled some more.
And, now that we are successful in our careers, we decided it was the prefect time to start trying. Here we are are – pregnant (it is the next chapter and a beautiful one!).
After four months of trying, I realized my period was late. I was only late by two days, but I still was late. So, just in case, I sat on my hands and waited until the end of the week to take a pregnancy test (I’m not going to lie it was really hard! lol). By Friday I couldn’t wait any longer, so I woke up at 5:30 am to take a test.
Pregnant!
When I looked at the results, I screamed (like a small, but loud enough scream). And in the process, I woke up my husband. He asked what happened and I said “we’re pregnant.”
Anthony immediately jumped out of bed and held me to where my feet weren’t touching the floor and kissed me. We both cried tears of happiness and kept saying “we did it! we did it!”
We’re so excited for this next adventure in our life. The journey has already been an amazing one.
